iPhone and iPod Touch HOW-TO Install |

NOTE : These directions are for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Please note the iPod must be version 1.1.3 (or above) and have the January '08 Software upgrade package installed. If you purchased the iPod without this software, then you will need to purchase the additional software upgrade package. (If you don't see Mail, Notes, Weather, Maps, and Stocks on the Main Menu then you need to purchase the upgrade.) This upgrade also includes the VPN client that is required to use the SIUC Wireless. Installation of the Native (built-in) VPN Client
- From the main menu, Tap Settings.
- Settings menu, Tap General.
- General menu, Tap Network.
- Network menu, Tap VPN.
- Select L2TP
Server = 131.230.76.177 (or 131.230.76.178, this is a secondary "Server")
Account = (Your Network ID)
Password = (Your Network ID Password)
Secret = Click here to view the 'Shared Secret'
Send all traffic = ON (default)
Proxy = Off (default)- Tap Save.
- Now refer to the 'How to Use, Step 2 for iPhone'
